Job Description

The Flight Coordinator reports to the Lead Flight Coordinator in growing a department that supports the safe and efficient execution of flight operations consistent with Silverhawk Aviation’s long-term vision. The position will assist the charter department with flight scheduling, trip crewing, and act as a point of contact to our current and future clients. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: prepare trip itineraries for flight crews and coordinate the necessary logistics that are associated with each trip. Flight Coordinators are responsible for ensuring timely and accurate schedule communication to crew members as well as providing clients with the highest level of customer service.

Other primary responsibilities include:

  • Monitor the flight schedule for efficiencies and adjust to minimize re-position legs.
  • Ensure all airport ground handling, fuel, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are in order.
  • Identify, anticipate, and take corrective action to minimize potential delays due to scheduling operations, crew legality, and maintenance issues.
  • Responsible for crew and passenger logistics such as coordinating ground transportation, catering, and hotel accommodations.
  • Handle the FBO selection and communication.
  • Conduct safe, efficient, and regulatory compliant practices.
  • Monitor and quote all incoming client charter requests.


  • High School Diploma.
  • Customer service experience strongly preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Handle change and multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The Flight Coordinator role is a full-time position that requires some availability in the evenings and on weekends with at least two full days off.
